How to install and run the program
IMPORTANT:
When working with the New Hope Inside Hidden, it is necessary to monitor EQUITY, because the
account balance will move both into a minus and a plus. It is also important that there is always a
valid amount of money for collateral. DO NOT trade the maximum lot with a leverage greater than
1:200.
1. Install 2017 vc_redist.x86, 2017 vc_redist.x64, framework 4.7.2 from the distributions folder that has been provided to you;
2. Run New Hope FEEDs.exe and go to the settings, where you have to specify your username and password and click the "save" button. Then select the supplier of fast quotes. Now select the list of necessary instruments and click "connect". If everything is correct, you will see “Fast” label with a green ON (detailed interface guide available below - jump to section);
3. Start the Meta Trader 4 terminal and connect to the trading account you need;
4. Then open the system folder of the terminal following the path: File / Open data directory. Go to the config folder and from there copy the file with the name of your trading server to the brokers folder, which is located in the New Hope INSIDE MT4 Hidden software folder;
5. Run the program New Hope INSIDE Hidden. Go to the "settings", select the provider of quotes and specify the trading settings and server name (detailed interface guide available below - jump to section);
6. Click "Connect". If all the data is filled in correctly, then green ON label will appear. You will also see the balance of the trading account and equity;
7. Now add trading instruments. Select the desired one from the list and press the "+" button. A window opens with the instrument settings. At the top you need to specify the name of the broker instrument. To find it go in the Meta Trader 4 terminal. Suppose in the feed you added EURUSD. Then look at the name of this instrument via MT4 – there it is: EURUSD_s (for example). Hence it is needed to write EURUSD_s in the “SLOW symbol:” field of the New Hope INSIDE Hidden program;
8. After adding all the instruments and specifying the necessary settings, you can start trading by
pressing the green button “start trading”.
Program description
The New Hope INSIDE Hidden MT4 program is designed to trade on the accounts of the Meta Trader 4 trading platform. The program requires the Meta Trader 4 terminal itself to get the information about the names of the trading instruments and get the server's settings file.
The program trades on its own connection and does not require parallel operation of the Meta Trader 4 terminal. To trade with the HFT strategy, you need suppliers of fast quotes. Our company takes care of this and provides customers the fastest quotes available on 2 servers:
● London – Lmax;
● New York – Bank Stock.
The client can choose for himself a convenient source of fast quotes in 2 leading countries of the world on financial trading.
For trading, you can use all the available instruments in the program. Here the list is not indicated, because they are constantly added and changed during the optimization of the program. Currently, more than 25 are available.
When buying a program, the client receives a unique Login & Password. Using those, the client connects to the license server and the quotes distribution server by selecting the quote provider in advance.
To change a VPS and run the software on another, a client just needs to turn off the programs at the old one and run them on a new one.
The program is best used on a VPS closer to the quotes distribution server or to the broker's server. Ping can greatly affect the quality of trade. If you are planning to trade from a home computer or from satellite Internet, the band should be at least 400Megabits and ping no more than 30ms to our server quotes and no more than 70ms to a broker server, in order to trade.
Interface description
1. Current server time (VPS) where the program is running;
2. Broker server name. Double-click opens account history;
3. Number of trading account. Double-click opens list of open orders;
4. Balance trading account;
5. Equity trading account;
6. Profit regarding the connection to the account and the launch of the program;
7. The connect/disconnect button. Required to connect and disconnect from the fast quotes server and broker server. After you have specified all the necessary data in the settings, you need to click this button to connect;
8. Button ON/OFF of trading program. When you click the button, the current state is displayed in the program log: trade start and trade stop;
9. Connection settings;
10. Button for getting information on the program and support;
11. Connection status to fast quotes and licenses;
12. Current server time;
13. Table with trading instruments. Description of the columns in order: the name of the trade symbol, fast instrument quotes, slow instruments quotes, slow instrument spread, manually closed positions, if any;
14. List of trading instruments of the supplier of fast quotes. Each supplier has its own!
15. Add the trading instrument to the table, specified earlier in the installation instruction;
16. Save the common settings of trading instruments file;
17. Load the common settings file of trading instruments;
18. Setting a time limit for trading, and a balance limit to stop trading.;
19. The area of the logs of the program. All trading processes and program errors are displayed in the logs. It has a vertical bar on the right for scrolling. Logs are auto-saved into the folder named logs.
Detailed settings of program connection
(step 9 of previous section)
1. Client login license (usually email);
2. Client’s license password;
3. Login from the broker's trading account;
4. Password from broker’s trading account;
5. The name of the trading server to which the program will connect;
6. Limit on the amount of equity in the account. In cases of draw-down or growth;
7. Trading planner. When enabled, displays the time until the end of trade in the program;
8. Start trading time VPS (VDS);
9. Stop trading time VPS (VDS);
10. Load the connection settings from a file;
11. Save the current connection settings to a file;
12. Accept changes and close the window.
Description of trading settings
1. Name of the fast quotes instrument;
2. Name of the broker instrument for trading. Type the exact name as explained in step 8 of installation guide;
3. Select the settings of another instrument from the list;
4. Copy the settings of the above cited instrument;
5. Open 2 locking orders at the start of trading. The checkbox sign disappears after opening;
6. Close 2 locking orders at the start of trading. You can choose 3 methods to close orders: at a certain VPS time, close by signal, close now;
7. Size of trading lot. Must be the same of the Meta Trader 4 terminal;
8. Minimal amount of time of different orders. Do not lower it below 120, otherwise the hidden strategy may be compromised (depends on the broker);
9. Open Position Diff. - the difference in price at which the program will receive a signal to open an order. The following are formulas for calculating signals. It is indicated in accordance with the quotes of the instrument. If the instrument has 5 decimals digits, the minimum possible signal is 0.1. All currencies are converted that 0.0001 is 1.0. For the yen, 0.01 is 1.0;
10. Minimal Impulse - minimum impulse size of fast quotes when a signal appears. If less than the specified, the signal is skipped;
11. Slippage coff - set at 1 to allow maximum slippage, set on 0 to disable slippage. 1 is equal to 100% signal intensity. 0.5 means 50% of signal intensity. This parameter is needed only for “instant” type of accounts;
12. Used to avoid requotes and rejects, it is the minimal allowed slippage, written in pips;
13. AutoOffSet - automatic price levelling between fast and slow quotes. It is always necessary for both spot and futures. With the option turned off, you can determine if the quotes are different. In this case, transactions will not open and close correctly. On the right there is a spot where the amount of ticks is shown, for comparison;
14. Re-aligning quotes every N minutes in the background;
15. Virtual Take Profit - virtual take profit. Indicated in accordance with the quotes of the instrument. If the latter has 5 decimal digits, then the minimum possible size is 0.00001;
16. Virtual Stop Loss - virtual stop loss. Indicated in accordance with the quotes of the instrument. If the latter has 5 decimal digits, then the minimum possible size is 0.00001;
17. Trailing Stop - stop loss distance from the price. Indicated in accordance with the quotes of the instrument. If the latter has 5 decimal digits, then the minimum possible size is 0.00001. If the has 2 decimal digits, then the minimum possible size is indicated 0.01. A great advantage in the trend movement, as it allows you to take more profits. Enable / disable trailing stop through a check mark;
18. Minimum order time in seconds. At 0 - off. Used when holding trades. It holds the signal to potentially increase profits. During the holding time the trade won’t open on take profit or stop loss, until the minimum order time written here is achieved;
19. Maximum order time in seconds. At 0 - off. Similar as above, just indicates the maximum waiting time. As soon as the max time is reached, the software will open a locking trade if it hasn’t been open on Take Profit, Stop Loss or Trailing Stop;
20. MaxSpread open - maximum spread size when opening a trade. If the spread is larger, the signal is skipped. Turns on / off with a tick on the left;
21. MaxSpread close - maximum spread size when closing a deal. If the spread is greater than the specified value, the program waits for the acceptable spread to close the transaction. Turns on / off with a tick on the left;
